This pincushion is designed by Natalie Bird from The Birdhouse, it is a large pincushion which includes a place to keep  your embroidery scissors, needles and a pocket for threads

The fabrics used in this kit are from The Birdhouse fabric range "Willowbrook"

    All instructions are detailed yet simple to understand for a beginner through to an experienced sewer. Techniques used are paper piecing, felt applique and general machine sewing.

    Finished Size: The finished size is 8″ tall x 5″ wide

    • Felt for 2 sides and appliques, needle book
    • Willowbrook Range Fabric for the paper piecing, pocket, base
    • Willowbrook linen fabric for one of the sides and scissor holder
    • blue felt ball for the top ( each kit has a slightly different blue ball)

    • Vliesofix
    • pre-loved elastic and a button in case you don't have any
    • Ground walnut shells for filling base of pincushion

    What you will need:

    • embroidery threads to match felt, needle & scissors
    • general sewing supplies
    • polyester toy fill
    • plain pare to make the templates for the paper piecing octagons
