Meet the Designers of Moda ~ Crystal Lake fabric

Today I was cutting up some more fat quarters of the Moda Crystal lake fabric and I thought I would check out who designed it.
It is designed by two sisters, Polly and Laurie.Their brand is called Mimick & Simpson. They are both from Michigan, USA.
Inspiration for this fabric range is a lake in their State.
They say "Crystal Lake practically abuts the much larger Lake Michigan and it is well, just beautiful. Clear blue water and and an endless horizon shaped by golden dunes. The blues and tans are inspired by this local lake that has sand dunes. We have some of their range including blue & tan stars and flowers.
